The IET uses third-party service providers to collect its online payments. At the point at which you choose to make a payment, the IET will forward you to the payment provider's site. After payment, you will be returned to the IET site.
During the checkout process, you will be taken to the provider's website to make your payment. Many payment providers participate in the Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code schemes. If you have registered with your bank for either of these schemes, you will be shown a pop-up window upon submitting your payment details. The pop-up window originates from your card issuer, and will ask you to enter a password or PIN number. If this is the first time you have shopped at a participating website, you may be asked more questions to verify your identity.
For help and support regarding problems with making online payments, in the first instance please either refer to our service provider's support site, or contact your card issuer. The IET would, however, like to be made aware of any problems that may affect its website.
Since the payment transaction occurs between the payment provider and your card provider, the IET does not receive any information about the reasons for which a payment may have been declined. Please contact your card provider to enquire about this.
