Hi All.
I work in a very old aircraft hanger and have been asked if I would like to do the fixed electrical inspection.
My company will pay for me to do the course and will purchase the test equipment.
I don't have much up to date information on the electrics in the hanger, but just looking at it gives me the shivers.
I have suggested that they call in an outside firm just so I have a benchmark to start from, but I think they would like to spend the money on training someone onsite.
should I keep pushing for external contractors or just start at the beginning and enjoy the challenge?
