Just wanted to get some views on the use of MDPE outer sheathed cables indoors.... 11000V and 400V.... options include jointing to XLPE/ LSOH for indoor use...not ideal as I would have 2 joints, 1 at either end.... or enclose in steel pipe for indoor areas....or encase ladder in durasteel or solid tray with lid etc.. or just leave it and accept it is just as good or bad as PVC outer sheathed cable.....

you may get more answers on the wiring forum to this sort of query, but personally, I;d prefer PE indoors to PVC, from a fire perspective, assuming cable rating adequate. The smoke is less nasty.
