Hi All. Retraining as a Spark and trying to get my head around a new (but not totally different) career.

welcome to the forum. The mods have moved your post in, so you should hopefully be able to start threads and join in existing ones as you see fit.
When you start a thread for a question, try and give as much detail as possible, and choose a meaningful title e.g. 'help' is less likely to get sensible answers than ' help needed with cable ratings in thermal insulation ' or whatever.
But don't be over concerned about asking apparently simple questions - these can often provoke the most varied answers. If you are not sure, try the search facility to see the style of past posts. Equally don't be put off by the apparently silly answer sometimes..

so what were you up to before that was 'similar' ?

regards Mike
