Hi

I am completing my fire alarm coarse next month, and would like some advise on costings

I do know that every system is different and varied just rough costing ideas would be really help please.

Over a year costs please (no internals to the Flats, just corridors ectl

1.Say for a small block with 4-8 flats
2.medum system 10-15 flats (
3. Large 50-80

Do you base it in your standard rate for Electrical work or do you use a different rate? If so what percentage more or less do you charge from your normal rate please?

When pricing for a new instsll we allow £100 per device plus the cost of a panel for a conventional system and £90 per device plus the cost of panel for bi wire system and then add 15% to the total. That figure includes all materials, commissioning and paperwork.
If its an addressable system its an extra £20 per device plus £50 per loop
