Scope and objectives

The RF & Microwave TPN is in the area of RF, microwave and millimetre-wave circuits and subsystems and the design and analysis of integrated circuits and systems with the following scope:

  • RF & microwave amplifiers, oscillators, filters, switches, mixers and other components
  • Monolithic, hybrid, multi-chip module and other technologies
  • RF & microwave measurements of power, impedance, frequency spectra, noise, etc.
  • RF & microwave sub-systems for use in communications, radar, aerospace and other systems
  • Microwave circuits and devices for photonics
  • Industrial and medical applications
  • Circuit theory, analogue, digital, mixed signal and RF circuit design
  • System on a chip design methodologies, integrated sensors and transducers
  • CAD tools and design for test
