Scope and objectives
The Built Environment Technologies Technical and Professional Network exists for all those with a professional interest in electrical installation engineering.
BETNET's aims are:
- To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas amongst the Built Environment Technologies global community
- To provide members of the community with a range of products and services that enables them to meet their obligations, to remain competent and to enhance their influence through the development of their professional skills and capabilities
- To raise the standard and visibility of the electrical engineering profession so as to facilitate its beneficial contribution to society
- To enable local and international networking
- To enable the TPN's community to have direct influence in the international standardisation process in Built Environment Technologies
The TPN covers all aspects of the design, installation, safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment installed and operated in all buildings.
