CPD Activities of IEE Sri Lanka
IEE Sri Lanka is a Branch of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, Savoy Place, London
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme of IEE Sri Lanka aims to fill the gap that continuously occurs in Engineers due to the rapid advancement of knowledge, especially in the broad field of Electrical Engineering. In order to give the CPD courses a wider depth, they are conducted in association with other institutes and/or universities.
Among the courses conducted are short courses on Electronics and Communications, done in association with the Department of Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering of the University of Moratuwa.
An extremely popular course is a 9-day course on Electrical Installations conducted by the IEE Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka .
A workshop on Lightning Protection is now annual held in collaboration with the Institute of Physics, Sri Lanka.
A seminar on IT related topics is also jointly conducted with the Computer Society of Sri Lanka.
