The Peterborough Joint Panel, formed in 1973, represents approximately 1,200 members of the Institutions of Mechanical Engineering (ImechE), Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), in Greater Peterborough and the surrounding areas. The annual programme of events covers a wide range of technology related subjects and is designed to provide something of interest to as many local engineers as possible. The PJP, in conjunction with the Peterborough Young Engineers, also actively promotes engineering in local schools through the Science and Engineering Ambassadors programme. The committee is always keen to hear from any person wishing to contribute to its future endeavors.
