IET Bristol Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the IET Bristol Network Committee will take place on Monday, 02 June 2008 at 19:00.
Venue: Engineers' House, The Promenade, Clifton Down, BRISTOL, BS8 3NB.
Directions to Engineers' House, Bristol
By road
From the South West on the M5
- Leave the M5 at Junction 19, Gordano Services.
- Take the A369 to Bristol West and Clifton.
- After approx. 4 miles turn left at the sign for Clifton (Toll). Cross the Suspension Bridge and take the first left turn.
- Bear left at the next junction and Engineers' House is about 500 metres along your left hand side.
From Bath on the A4, or from Wells on the A37
- On reaching Bristol follow signs for the City Centre.
- After the junction with the A4/A37, keep in the left land and turn left at the next roundabout into York Road, signed A4 Avonmouth.
- At the next roundabout take the second exit, keeping the river on your right hand side.
- Follow signs for A4 Avonmouth. As you pass under the Clifton Suspension Bridge, get in the right hand lane.
- Turn right at the traffic lights up Bridge Valley Road.
- Turn first right at the top of the hill. Engineers' House is about 500 metres along your left hand side.
By rail
From 'Bristol Temple Meads'
This is close to the city centre and the 3 mile journey to Engineers' House can be made bus no. 8 from the train station or by taxi.
