Date for your diary
Following on from the successful and enjoyable event at the Liverpool Marriott City Centre Hotel, the Mersey and Western Cheshire Network will be returning there on the evening of Friday 6th February 2009 for the Network Annual Dinner.
Speakers include Dr Nigel Burton Deputy president of The IET, Mike Parker Chairman of Liverpool Vision and David Gunson former air traffic controller. Partners are welcome. We thank our main sponsor ATG for their continued support of this event.

Wave Energy
Global warming and the need to reduce our carbon footprint should be at the forefront of everyone's mind. To meet the government's target of reducing carbon output we will need to use a variety of power generation solutions using renewable sources. This talk offers an opportunity to learn more about one of these renewable sources and will talk about the possibilities of utilising the power of the sea to generate electric power for both domestic and industrial use.
