Events continue to provide an opportunity for retired members to meet during the day and have discussions of mutual and technical interest. The title and venue are noted in the Programme but date details and location directions are only posted to those registered on our database of interested members. Details are not circulated to the entire Branch membership as the events are primarily tailored to retired members, and those who have taken the trouble to register their interest naturally receive preference. With the large membership, events are often over-booked with waiting lists necessary and we have agreed to accept bookings by telephone, only after circulation of the event details. For these reasons also we are not able to offer places to partners or friends. Please note: where notices are delivered before the normal scheduled Monday, then bookings are not accepted before that Monday.

Additional or newly retired members who have not yet registered their interest to the Branch Representative are of course very welcome to do so.
