Dear Engineers & Technologists,
Welcome to the IET Berkshire Network. We are a group of members who decided that like true engineers we could make things better. We wanted more interesting and exciting events, more opportunities to meet and speak with our fellow engineers and to make the art of engineering more fun. The committee has many active members in addition to many more who get involved as work and time permits. We also have an excellent Specialised Section that provides lectures in the themes of Electronics, Control, Communication and Computing at a more advanced level.
This is done in the Berkshire area in collaboration with the IMechE, the British Computer Society, The Royal Television Society, Reading University, Innovate Thames Valley and JCI Reading. We also work closely with our neighbouring Local Networks of Buckinghamshire, Hampshire North, London, Oxford, Surrey and Swindon. If you would like to know more then feel free to e-mail me.
Preetam Heeramun
IET Berkshire Network Chairman
