Welcome to the IEE France website, which will provide you with general information on the Centre's activities as well as up to date information on technical and social events being organised by the Centre, which are also covered in the monthly newsletter. In addition, the new IET Knowledge Network enables member groups to interact and work together for mutual technical and career benefit - more information.
If you are an IET member located in France you can subscribe to the branch mail server by sending a message to owner-ctr_fr@iee.org including your membership number. The French Centre uses email for all Centre communications, with the exception of the AGM notice; in consequence, it is vital that Members keep their registration up to date when changing addresses. If you don't receive anything for more than a month (except in August) then send a mail to owner-ctr_fr@iee.org to check. It is unlikely that your details will have been erased, but problems can arise that mean that deregistration is the only option. This can happen when your mailbox overflows for example.
The Institution of Civil Engineers, French Local Association, sponsors a monthly joint meeting of Engineering Institutions at Carrs bar and restaurant, 1 rue du Mont Thabor, Paris 1. (Metro Tuileries).The meetings take place on the third Thursday of the month at 19h00; the first drink is on the ICE Local Association. Ladies and guests welcomed.
